Today we had tickets for the Red hop on hop off bus which we hoped would help us get around the sights. Good job we decided to buy a two day ticket because, as we found, it is difficult trying to get around more than a couple of sights each day.  First we went to The Mall of the Emirates to check out Ski Dubai. It took longer there because it was so big - amazing place. Next stop the Dubai Mall which is supposed to be the largest in the world. After a quick Food Court lunch, we went to the Aquarium (which included a boat trip across the top it!) and then the Underwater Zoo (Olive, our little Granddaughter would love it!) We then decided to continue on our bus tour route to make the most of the daylight hours before returning to the Dubai Mall in the evening. We probably should have stayed at the Mall as it was getting late and, with light fading, we had to be content with taking a few pics from the bus while it was making its way around the route and back to the Mall. We got back to the Mall about 7 pm where we had another quick food court meal before we took our night shots of the Bellagio style Fountain, the Olympic size Ice Rink and the Waterfall before getting a taxi back to our Hotel. Then we had a couple of beers in the Hotel Bar which was very busy with non residents (hotels are the only place you can get a drink!) before we went to bed.
