Today we went to the Grand Palace. It was amazing! We spent several hours looking around. Lots of tourists as you would expect but it all added to the atmosphere. After that we made our way to see the Royal Barge Museum but unfortunately it was closed until 13th January for renovation. So a Thai sold us a trip on a long boat going up the canals which was great fun. You really see how some Thai people live. Then for late afternoon we went near the Khao San Road for beers and food very cheap and so good. Got back after a long day about 11 o clock.  Tomorrow we move on to Pattaya for 4 days.
