Thursday 9th January.

Today is my 65th Birthday and we have had a brilliant time!  We travelled on a shuttle boat, sky train and canal boat then tuk tuk which was fast and furious to get to Khao San Road where backpackers often stay including our two boys in the past. It is an amazing place we had a fab seafood Pad Thai for lunch. Then we went to Chinatown via the riverboats. Travelling around is so cheap. Then we had a Birthday meal on the river closer to our hotel. Grand Palace tomorrow!
